SHAM PAINTS INDUSTRIES is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Senior Accountant
with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, and financial compliance. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations, statutory compliances, audits, and financial reporting for a manufacturing setup.
Key Responsibilities
Manage complete books of accounts including
GL, AP, AR, and inventory accounting
Preparation and finalization of
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Handling
GST compliance
: returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), reconciliation, audits, and notices
TDS compliance including
deduction, returns, and reconciliation
Ensure compliance with
Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory laws
Coordination with
statutory auditors, tax auditors, and internal auditors
Preparation of
MIS reports
, cost analysis, and variance analysis
Monitoring cash flow, bank reconciliation, and fund planning
Handling
manufacturing accounting
including raw material, WIP, and finished goods
Support management in
budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Supervise and guide junior accounting staff
Ensure timely closure of books and accurate financial reporting
Required Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com
(CA Inter preferred)
Minimum
10 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of
GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances
Experience in
manufacturing or paint/chemical industry
preferred
Proficiency in
Tally, ERP systems, MS Excel, Busy Software
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
Preferred Skills
Audit handling experience
Costing and inventory control knowledge
Excellent documentation and reporting skills
