Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Accounting

Prepare and maintain accurate

monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

(Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Record all financial transactions related to manufacturing, sales, inventory, and expenses. Ensure timely

journal entries, reconciliations, and financial close procedures

.

Cost & Inventory Accounting

Monitor and analyse

production costs, raw material usage, inventory valuations

. Coordinate with production and supply teams to track stock movement, variances, and wastage -- critical in food/snacks manufacturing.

Compliance & Taxation

Manage GST filings, TDS, and other statutory returns as per Indian tax laws. Ensure compliance with

accounting standards and financial regulations

.

Budgeting & Financial Analysis

Work on

budget preparation, forecasting, variance analysis

. Provide insights on profitability by product lines and suggest cost optimization measures.

Audit & Internal Controls

Support internal and external audits; maintain financial controls and documentation. Ensure processes are in place to reduce risk, fraud, and errors.

ERP/Software Use

Operate accounting software (e.g.,

Tally, ERP solutions

) and Excel for analysis. Maintain financial records in digital systems for transparency and audit readiness. Indeed

Typical Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting (B.Com/M.Com).

Experience:

Ideally

3-7+ years

in accounting/finance roles. Experience in manufacturing or FMCG/supply chain companies adds value.

Skills Required:

Strong grasp of

accounting principles, budgeting, reporting, tax compliance

. Advanced

MS Excel & accounting software proficiency

analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
