Job Description

This is a critical role based in our Noida office, ideal for a finance professional who combines technical accounting expertise with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and cross-functional coordination, while ensuring high standards of accuracy and timeliness. Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts using Tally

Record all accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, payments, receipts, and journal entries

Oversee timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory obligations

Manage inventory accounting and coordinate periodic reconciliations with the operations team

Liaise with banks and financial institutions for day-to-day transactions, reconciliations, and documentation

Coordinate with external chartered accountants and tax consultants for audits and compliance

Prepare monthly financial statements including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports

Reconcile collections and payouts from all D2C platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, Razorpay, etc.)

Provide regular reporting and visibility into key financial metrics and KPIs to the founders

Contribute to the development of internal controls and process improvement initiatives

Work collaboratively with other departments including operations, HR, and marketing Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a DTC or e commerce environment

Proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Excel

In-depth understanding of Indian accounting standards, direct and indirect taxation, and statutory compliance

Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with attention to detail

Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders

High level of ownership, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com)

Candidates who have cleared CA CPT or are CA Inter qualified will be given strong preference

Prior experience working in a startup or fast-paced business environment

Familiarity with D2C tools and platforms such as Razorpay, Paytm, and Shiprocket is an advantage

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
