Job Description

We are a forward-thinking Pune base service provided to UK-based accounting firm committed to delivering precise, timely, and strategic financial services to a diverse client base, including individuals, partnerships, and Limited companies.

We are seeking a

highly experienced Senior Accountant

with a strong background in UK statutory accounts, personal and corporate taxation, and HMRC compliance. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working in a UK focused financial environment and should be adept with leading accounting software platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit statutory accounts in compliance with FRS 102 1A and FRS 105. File corporation tax returns (CT600) and personal tax returns (SA100). Manage and review and submission of VAT returns Perform regular bookkeeping, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. Register clients for various taxes including Self-assessment, PAYE, and VAT. Train and supervise junior staff on platforms such as Xero and QuickBooks. Generate financial reports for client advisory and internal decision-making.

Preferred Skills

Experience in dealing/ Managing UK based client portfolio Experience with client training and onboarding accounting software.
