We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team and manage accounting operations for our clients in the UK region. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and preferably prior experience with UK accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle end-to-end accounting for UK-based clients
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
Manage VAT returns and ensure compliance with UK accounting regulations
Perform month-end and year-end closing processes
Collaborate with UK teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data
Work with accounting software such as Sage (preferred)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong accounting knowledge with hands-on experience
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting
Excellent command of English (both written and spoken)
Experience with UK accounting practices is an advantage
Familiarity with Sage accounting software is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
