Role Overview
Arrow Constructions is seeking an experienced
Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager
to lead a team of associate accountants and manage the company's day-to-day accounting operations. The role involves site-wise expense control, statutory compliance, audit readiness, and coordination with banks and government authorities.
Industry Preference
Prior experience in
construction / infrastructure / EPC / irrigation projects
is mandatory
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of associate accountants across projects and sites
Manage
day-to-day accounting and expense tracking
on a site-wise and project-wise basis
Maintain accurate
books of accounts
and prepare them for
external audit review and finalization
Handle
vendor ledger maintenance
, invoice verification, and timely processing of vendor payments
Ensure proper accounting of material purchases, subcontractor bills, and site expenses
Prepare and file
Income Tax returns
, and manage
PF, ESI filings
and related compliances
Oversee
GST compliance
, including returns and filings (preferred skill)
Coordinate with
banking partners
for submission of financial data, statements, and compliance-related information
Support working capital requirements, bank audits, and limit renewals
Liaise with
government departments and authorities
in Hyderabad to clarify queries related to books of accounts and statutory matters
Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and statutory timelines
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong working knowledge of
Tally, MS Excel, and MS Word
Sound understanding of construction accounting, including site-wise cost tracking
Experience in
finalizing accounts for audit purposes
Practical exposure to
Income Tax, PF, ESI
compliances
Knowledge of
GST returns and filings
is an added advantage
Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
Strong coordination and communication skills
Language Requirements
Must be fluent in
English, Hindi, and Telugu
Travel Requirement
The role requires
local travel within Hyderabad
for coordination with banks, auditors, and government offices
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
