Job Summary:

GBS Impex, a leading export and import company, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the financial health and reporting of the organization. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial data, compliance with statutory regulations, and provide insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:

Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger management. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting:

Develop and monitor budgets. Provide forecasts and financial analysis to support management decisions.
3. Compliance & Audits:

Ensure compliance with tax regulations, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements. Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
4. Inventory and Cost Management:

Monitor and analyze inventory costs related to GBS Impex's export and import operations.
5. Process Optimization:

Identify areas for process improvement within the accounting department. Implement systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
6. Team Leadership:

Supervise junior accountants and provide mentorship. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial planning and reporting.
7. Reporting:

Generate MIS reports for senior management. Analyze financial performance and recommend cost-saving measures.

In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and practices. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with international trade regulations and financial documentation.
