Senior Accountant - Construction Company (Coimbatore)

We are a fast-growing construction company in Coimbatore, specializing in [residential/commercial/infrastructure] projects. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage our full spectrum of accounting and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate books of accounts Handle accounts payable/receivable and vendor reconciliation Maintain project-wise costing and monitor expenses Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and all statutory compliance Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management Coordinate with banks, auditors, and internal teams Implement internal controls and support process improvements Guide and supervise junior accounting staff
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred 5-10 years of accounting experience (construction industry experience is an advantage) Proficiency in Tally ERP / Zoho Books / SAP (as applicable) Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory regulations Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
