to manage and oversee the daily accounting activities, ensure timely financial reporting, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and hands-on experience in general ledger management, statutory compliance, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
Ensure timely closure of books of accounts and monthly MIS reporting.
Assist in forecasting, and variance analysis.
Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance, including return filings and reconciliations.
Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for audits and ensure timely resolution of audit queries.
Maintain fixed asset register and handle depreciation accounting.
Liaise with banks and other financial institutions for routine operations.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in Tally.
Facilitating effective coordination between the operations department and external suppliers.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
Good understanding of taxation (GST, TDS) and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally ERP, SAP, or similar).
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
