Senior Accountant

Work Location: Palayapalayam, Erode

Industry: Industrial Lubricant Oil Dealers

Roles and responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

Financial Reporting:

Preparing and analyzing financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) and regulatory reporting documents.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assisting with the budgeting process, forecasting financial performance, and analyzing budget variances.

Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with accounting principles (GAAP), internal controls, and relevant regulations.

Audit Support:

Assisting with both internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information.

Supervision and Mentorship:

May supervise junior accountants and accounting assistants, providing guidance and training.

Process Improvement:

Identifying areas for improvement in accounting processes and internal controls, and developing and implementing solutions.

Analysis and Reporting:

Performing financial analysis, summarizing financial status, and presenting findings to management.

Tax Preparation:

Assisting with tax return preparation and compliance, including sales tax, payroll tax, and other relevant filings.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
