About Role

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing complex accounting functions to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective financial operations for Telth Healthcare. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills and ability to collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Core Duties:

Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations

Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP). Manage month-end and year-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations and account reviews. Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate bookkeeping. Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts and key financial data

Compliance & Audit

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (i.e. GST, TDS) and internal policies. Prepare tax documentation and support audit activities as needed. Liaise with external auditors and provide audit schedules and explanations

Budgeting & Analysis

Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities. Conduct variance analysis and present insights to management for decision support. Identify opportunities for process improvements within accounting operations

Team Collaboration & Support

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (i.e. operations, compliance) to resolve accounting issues. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff as needed.

What do we need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance field with a mandatory Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification. 3 -5 years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliation, reporting standards and the finance knowledge in Startup organization is required. Proficient with accounting software and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
