The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supervising the accounts team. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of taxation, auditing, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee daily accounting operations (sales, purchase, bank, cash, journal entries, etc.)
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Maintain general ledger and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts.
Supervise junior accountants and support staff in accounting tasks.
Handle GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances.
Prepare and file returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audit requirements.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow statements.
Monitor accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely vendor & client payments.
Manage payroll and employee expense reimbursements.
Ensure proper documentation and record keeping of financial data.
Assist management in financial decision-making and policy implementation.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
B.Com / M.Com / CA (Inter) / MBA (Finance)
Experience:
Minimum 4-7 years in accounting and finance
Technical Skills:
Tally / ERP software, MS Excel, and accounting standards knowledge
Knowledge of:
GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, and ESI laws
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and team management ability
Attention to detail and accuracy
Salary:
As per experience and company norms
