Job Overview:

Debock Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Senior Accountant

to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This role will be responsible for managing the company's accounts, preparing accurate financial reports, supporting audits, and providing strategic insights to management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to lead accounting processes efficiently.

Responsibilities:

? Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
? Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
? Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax filings, and internal accounting policies.
? Manage and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.
? Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
? Implement and improve accounting systems, processes, and internal controls.
? Provide financial analysis to support business decisions and management reporting.
? Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounting tasks.
? Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

Requirements:

? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's/CA/CPA preferred).
? Minimum

5-7 years of progressive accounting experience

, with at least 2 years in a senio role.
? Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations.
? Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems) and MS Excel.
? Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
? Strong written and verbal communication skills.
? Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
? High level of integrity and attention to detail.
