Role Overview

We Are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee the day-to-day functioning of the accounts department, support investor reporting requirements, and streamline cashflow and MIS analysis. This role requires someone who is highly organized, analytical, and capable of breaking down complex financial information into actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain detailed MIS reports for sales, expenses, and purchases. Break down financial data and present monthly reports in an easy-to-understand format for management and investors. Monitor and analyse cash flow; provide insights and alerts for better fund management. Coordinate and compile financial data for investor reports and support due diligence queries. Oversee all bookkeeping operations and maintain accurate ledgers. Ensure timely GST and TDS filings, and maintain compliance with all statutory obligations. Respond to emails from buyers, vendors, and internal teams related to finance and accounts queries. Handle vendor reconciliations, payment cycles, and ageing reports. Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure accuracy and timeliness of all departmental outputs. Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and legal representatives as needed.

Requirements

Strong command over MS Excel, Tally, and other accounting software Experience preparing investor MIS, cash flow statements, and compliance documentation Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, and statutory filings Good written and verbal communication skills -- especially for handling external communication Highly organised with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
