to manage end-to-end accounting operations. The role requires hands-on ownership of daily accounting activities, statutory compliance (GST, TDS), and effective coordination with junior accounting staff and external Chartered Accountants.
The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting while supporting management with reliable financial data.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Operations
Handle day-to-day accounting activities including entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and vouchers.
Maintain accurate books of accounts for real estate transactions including receipts, payments, and expenses.
Ensure proper accounting of project-wise income, costs, and expenses.
Statutory Compliance (GST & TDS)
Prepare, review, and file
GST returns
(GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) on a timely basis.
Handle
TDS compliance
including calculation, deduction, challans, and return filings.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
Team Management & Coordination
Supervise and manage the work of junior accountants.
Review entries and reports prepared by junior team members for accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate with external
Chartered Accountants
for audits, filings, assessments, and statutory matters.
Reconciliation & Controls
Perform bank, vendor, customer, and GST reconciliations.
Monitor receivables and payables and flag variances or delays.
Ensure proper documentation and internal controls are maintained.
Reporting & Support
Prepare periodic MIS, financial summaries, and reports for management review.
Assist in audits, assessments, and management queries.
Support management in financial planning and decision-making with accurate data.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
(M.Com / CA Inter / relevant certification preferred)
5-10 years of accounting experience

mandatory experience in the real estate sector

Hands-on experience in
GST and TDS filings
.
Experience in managing junior accounting staff.
Proven experience coordinating with Chartered Accountants and handling audits.
