Senior Accountant - Banking & Finance (LC Payments)

:

Manage and oversee Letter of Credit (LC) transactions, including opening, amendment, negotiation, and closure.
Coordinate with banks, suppliers, and internal teams for timely processing of LC payments.
Ensure compliance with banking regulations, UCP 600, and company policies related to trade finance.
Prepare and verify LC documentation, invoices, shipping documents, and bank charges.
Monitor LC limits, maturity dates, and payment schedules to avoid delays or penalties.
Reconcile bank statements, LC accounts, and trade finance entries in books of accounts.
Handle import/export finance accounting, including usance and sight LCs.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing related to banking and LC transactions.
Liaise with auditors and banks for LC confirmations and financial audits.
Maintain accurate records and MIS reports for LC exposure, utilization, and outstanding payments.
