Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / BBA - Finance).
Postgraduate degree (M.Com / MBA - Finance) or professional certification (CA Inter / CMA) preferred.
Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and accounting standards.
Experience:
3-5+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
Proven experience in statutory compliance, banking operations, vendor coordination, and internal audits.
Proficiency in accounting software/ERPs such as Tally ERP and SAP is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and accurate statutory compliance including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Balance Sheet finalization.
Oversee daily banking operations including fund transfers, cheque handling, and cash flow management.
Prepare and reconcile Petty Cash, BRS (Bank Reconciliation Statements), and operational expenses.
Prepare and finalize quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable standards.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers on financial and contractual matters.
Generate and issue customer invoices; prepare and file monthly GST returns and E-Way Bills.
Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency.
Assist in finalization and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR).
Prepare TDS statements and file quarterly TDS returns.
Manage vendor registration formalities and ensure timely vendor payments.
Process employee reimbursements, project expense claims, and related bills.
Maintain and update daily reports on Sundry Debtors & Creditors, Sales & Purchase transactions.
Ensure accurate documentation of cash vouchers, petty cash, and other financial records.
Prepare and submit periodic compliance, financial, and management reports.
