Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee our financial reporting
and accounting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining complete books
of accounts, general ledger, financial reporting and analysis, compliance, month-end
closing, treasury management, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts, including general ledger and
financial statements
- Prepare financial reports and analysis, including budget vs actuals and variance
analysis
- Ensure compliance with Accounting Standards (Ind AS/ IFRS) and regulatory
requirements
- Ensure revenue recognition is in line with Accounting Standards and AMEC's business
model
- Ensure all legal, financial, audit, secretarial, and tax compliance requirements are met
- Manage month-end closing processes, including accruals, prepayments, and
reconciliations
- Oversee bank reconciliation and cash flow forecasting
- Manage treasury management, including banking relationships and cash management
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Conduct reconciliations and ensure accuracy of accounting records
- Support audit processes and ensure timely resolution of audit findings
Requirements:
- CA (Chartered Accountant, final year/pursuing) or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting and finance
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, laws, and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, ZOHO, ODOO)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Leadership skills to manage and guide the accounting team
