The Senior Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting management with timely financial reports.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting Verification & Reconciliation
Monitor and verify sales and purchase transactions for statutory accuracy
Ensure proper generation and compliance of E-Invoicing and E-Way Bills
Review purchase invoices for correct tax applicability and completeness
Perform periodic bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations
Investigate and resolve discrepancies through coordination with internal teams and external parties
2. GST & Statutory Compliance
Perform monthly reconciliation of purchase data with GST records
Ensure accuracy of sales, credit notes, and tax liabilities
Prepare and review data for GST returns within prescribed timelines
Coordinate with consultants for filing of GST returns and tax payments
Monitor compliance across multiple entities and consolidate data where required
3. Payment Settlement & Cash Flow Support
Ensure invoice-wise adjustment of receipts and payments
Prepare payment recommendations considering due dates and cash discounts
Support management in timely settlement of vendor payments
Maintain accuracy in outstanding balances and ageing
4. Banking Operations
Oversee daily bank transactions and reconciliations
Execute payments and cheque processing after management approval
Ensure proper documentation and monthly filing of bank records
5. Inter-Company & Special Billing
Handle periodic invoicing for rental and inter-company transactions
Ensure timely raising of invoices and follow-up of receivables
6. Direct & Indirect Tax Compliance
Manage GST, TDS, TCS, Advance Tax, and Professional Tax compliances
Review tax calculations and coordinate payments after approvals
Share required workings and data with Chartered Accountants and consultants
Ensure statutory timelines are met to avoid penalties
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of Indian accounting and taxation framework
Practical exposure to GST reconciliation and compliance
Experience in bank and ledger reconciliations
Ability to coordinate across departments and with external consultants
High attention to accuracy, timelines, and documentation
Qualification & Experience
B.Com ,M.Com mandatory
5+ years of experience in accounts and compliance roles
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
