Job Description

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESAccounting & Finance

Maintain complete books of accounts including GL, AP, AR Monthly, quarterly, and annual

finalization of accounts

Bank, cash, and vendor/customer reconciliations Fixed asset accounting and depreciation Ensure accuracy of financial records and documentation
Taxation & Statutory Compliance

Preparation and filing of

GST returns

(GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation)

TDS computation & returns

, Form 16 / 16A Support

Income Tax

calculations and filings Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, and other statutory requirements Coordinate with tax consultants and auditors
MIS, Budgeting & Reporting

Prepare

MIS reports

, cash flow statements, and dashboards Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Provide financial data to management as required
Audit & Controls

Coordinate with

statutory, internal, and tax auditors

Ensure timely closure of audit observations Implement and monitor internal controls and SOPs
Team & Coordination

Guide and supervise junior accountants Coordinate with HR, procurement, sales, and operations teams Handle vendor and customer queries professionally
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI)

Timely closing of monthly & annual accounts Zero or minimal statutory non-compliance Accuracy of MIS & financial reports Audit observations closure timeline Improvement in accounting processes
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Strong knowledge of accounting principles & standards Expertise in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance Proficiency in

Tally / ERP

and

Advanced Excel

Analytical thinking and attention to detail Good communication and coordination skills Ability to work under deadlines
QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

B.Com / M.Com / CA (Inter) / ICWA (Inter)

Additional Certifications (Preferred):

GST / Taxation Courses
