The Senior Accounts will oversee the financial management, accounting operations, and compliance functions. This leadership role involves managing a team to ensure accurate reporting, efficient processes, and alignment with business. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of real estate transactions, financial analysis, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the management team and stakeholders.
Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the company.
Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and recommend corrective actions.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure accurate tracking of project costs, revenues, and profitability.
Oversee tenant billing, rent collection, and reconciliation processes.
Implement cost allocation strategies for development projects.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of taxes, including corporate tax, VAT/GST, and property-related taxes.
Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance.
Keep updated on changes in tax laws and their implications.
Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Streamline accounting systems, processes, and software to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Conduct periodic audits and reviews to identify and mitigate financial risks.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants and finance staff.
Assign tasks, set performance goals, and provide feedback to team members.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and collaboration within the team.
Manage relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions to secure funding or manage loans.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
Master's degree in Finance (MBA) or a related field (preferred).
At least 8-10 years of experience in accounting or financial management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
Strong experience in the real estate sector, including project accounting, property management, and real estate tax implications.
Experience with ERP systems and financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
