Key Responsibilities Accounts Finalization and Compliance: Prepare annual financial statements, ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and support audits. Vendor Payments and Management: Initiate and process vendor payments, manage outstanding payments, and ensure timely payments. Daily Operations Management: Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, and general ledger. Cash Flow Management: Track and manage cash flow on a daily basis. MIS Reporting: Submit daily error-free MIS reports to management. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws, file statutory returns, and pay applicable taxes. Stock Reporting: Create monthly stock reports. Office Management: Perform basic office management duties and other related tasks. Additional Responsibilities Audit Liaison: Liaise with auditors, ensure audits are completed within timelines, and provide necessary information for annual external audits. Employee Sustainability: Create an environment, develop SOPs, and culture to sustain employees. CA Support: Attend to CA-related tasks, such as return filing and notices from government departments. Process Improvement: Improve systems and procedures, initiate corrective actions. Fiscal Record Maintenance: Establish and maintain fiscal files and records. Financial Reporting: Oversee preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets. Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations. Tax Planning: Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year. Financial Recommendations: Present recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies. Succession Planning: Develop team members for future growth and monitor their progress. Daily Follow-ups: Follow up on suspense amounts and other outstanding issues. Departmental Reporting: Generate and share departmental reports with respective teams. Unforeseen Tasks: Accept and complete any unforeseen tasks related to accounts and finance. Timelines and Deadlines Utility Bill Payments: Track and pay utility bills by the 10th of the next month. Tax Payments: Pay PF, PT, and ESIC by the 10th of the next month. GST and TDS Updates: Update GST, TDS, and expenses ledger by the 20th of the next month. Work Requirements Extended Working Hours: Work extended hours during audit periods. Daily Reporting: Submit daily reports on time. Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks. Compliance with Company Policies: Adhere to company policies and procedures. Performance Expectations Timely Completion of Tasks: Complete tasks on time. Error-Free Reporting: Submit error-free reports. Proactive Approach: Take a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Team Development: Develop and train team members. Work to be supervised Daily entry of Sales Bills Ensuring Daily / Monthly Bank Reconciliations/ Reconcile bank accounts with books of accounts. Train people and check juniors work flow/ Training team members Take care of Petty cash, Preparing vouchers and maintaining in excel on daily basis Daily verifying petty cash and cash with creating verified cumulative report
