Job Description

Accountants record financial transactions, prepare financial statements and reports, manage budgets, and handle tax planning and compliance for businesses and individuals. Their responsibilities also include auditing financial records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing strategic financial advice to management for decision-making, cost reduction, and profit enhancement. Core Responsibilities

Financial Record Keeping:

Accurately recording all financial transactions, such as sales, purchases, and payments, and ensuring they are properly classified and posted to the correct accounts.

Financial Statement Preparation:

Creating financial reports like balance sheets, income statements (profit and loss statements), and cash flow statements.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Developing and managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and performing financial forecasting to help organizations operate within their financial plans.

Tax Planning and Compliance:

Calculating and filing tax returns, staying updated on tax laws, and developing strategies to ensure compliance and minimize tax liability within legal boundaries.

Auditing and Compliance:

Examining financial records, performing audits, and ensuring that all financial activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Managing Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Processing payments to vendors and managing invoices for customers, ensuring smooth cash flow.

Payroll Processing:

Managing the payroll functions, including calculations and timely payments to employees.
Strategic Responsibilities

Financial Analysis:

Analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Strategic Financial Advice:

Providing recommendations to management on cost reduction, profit maximization, and other financial strategies to improve the company's financial position.

Financial System Management:

Creating, implementing, and ensuring that accounting systems are up-to-date and efficient.

Discrepancy Resolution:

Investigating and resolving discrepancies and irregularities in financial records and statements.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
