Ensure timely posting of journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliation.
Taxation:
Handle
TDS
computation, deduction, payment, and filing of returns.
Manage
GST
compliance including registration, invoice matching, return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9), and reconciliation.
Audit & Compliance:
Assist in internal and statutory audits.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Generate MIS reports for management review.
Banking & Payments:
Monitor bank transactions, perform reconciliations, and manage vendor payments.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants (e.g., CA firms).
Mentor junior accountants and support team development.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in
Tally ERP
and MS Excel.
Strong knowledge of
Indian taxation laws
(TDS, GST).
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance)
Certification in Tally or GST (preferred)
