Job Summary
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing core finance functions at Raksha Hospitality, including Accounting, Financial Reporting, Taxation, Compliance, Vendor Management, and Expense Control. This role ensures timely and accurate maintenance of financial records, oversees statutory filings such as GST and TDS, and supports audit processes. The role also involves monitoring daily transactions, preparing MIS reports, coordinating with internal departments and external consultants, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and company policies for smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including data entry, journal entries, and ledger maintenance
Handle complete accounting operations including ledger maintenance and finalization of accounts
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Tally ERP or similar systems
Record sales, purchases, payments, and receipts accurately and on time
Track daily revenue reports and coordinate with outlets for sales reconciliation
2. Financial Reporting
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports
Generate Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and other financial statements
Analyze financial trends and assist management with data-driven decisions
3. Taxation & Compliance
Manage GST & TDS calculations, payments, and timely filing of returns
Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, and other statutory obligations
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
4. Vendor & Bank Management
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely fund deposits
Manage vendor payments, schedules, and reconciliations
Maintain vendor master records and documentation
5. Expense & Cost Control
Monitor operational and administrative expenses for budget alignment
Identify cost-saving opportunities and report discrepancies
Implement checks to prevent revenue leakage and unauthorized expenses
6. Internal Coordination & Support
Support outlet teams with petty cash management, inventory reconciliation, and billing clarifications
Work closely with HR for payroll accounting and statutory deductions
Assist procurement and operations in budgeting and planning

5+ years of accounting experience (Hospitality preferred)
