Oversee and coordinate daily accounting operations, ensuring the accurate recording and classification of transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and journal entries.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts, conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and revenue projections; monitor actual results and investigate variances.
Support and oversee audits (internal and external), coordinate with auditors, and provide requisite documentation and explanations.
Handle tax planning, computation, and the preparation of GST, TDS, income tax returns, and other statutory filings as per regulatory requirements.
Develop and recommend improvements to accounting systems, processes, and controls; assist in implementing new or revised financial policies.
Monitor compliance with internal control systems, company policies, and regulatory frameworks to minimize risks.
Collaborate with other departments, executives, or external consultants for strategic financial planning, financial analysis, and business decision support.
