The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting budgeting and audit processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and experience in accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.

Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.

Coordinate internal and external audits.

Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

Monitor and improve accounting procedures and systems.

Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Support management with financial analysis and decision-making.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA/CA preferred).

Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems).

Advanced MS Excel skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
