Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proven track record in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Perform complex reconciliations of general ledger accounts, bank statements, and other financial records.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring proper coding and documentation.
Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and other relevant regulations.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Provide support for various tax filings and compliance requirements (e.g., GST, TDS).
Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.
Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification is highly preferred.
Minimum of [4-6] years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least [ 2-3] years in a Senior Accountant role.
Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Monday to Saturday: 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM
