Job Description

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the finance team in budgeting, audits, and decision-making processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to supervise junior accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities. Prepare financial statements, management reports, and statutory filings in compliance with regulations. Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing. Oversee tax compliance, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation. Supervise, mentor, and guide junior accountants and finance staff. Collaborate with management for strategic financial planning and cost control. Ensure timely and accurate reporting for decision-making

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP, SAP, or similar). Advanced MS Excel and financial analysis skills. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
