Job Description

We are a well-established and growing group of companies, with diverse business interests. We are seeking a highly experienced and independent Senior Accountant to manage the financial operations of our group.

The Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the complete accounting functions for multiple companies within our group, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role requires a strong ability to work independently and manage complex financial scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements for multiple entities. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting. Research technical accounting issues for compliance. Support month-end and year-end close process. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Manage and comply with government reporting requirements and tax filings. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Additional controller duties as necessary. Liaise with auditors and manage audit processes. Provide financial analysis and insights to management.

Qualifications:

Proven working experience as a Senior Accountant. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Knowledge of Indian taxation laws (GST, Income Tax, etc.) is essential.
