Job Description

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and overseeing statutory compliance. The role requires strong hands-on experience in Tally (mandatory), along with solid knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and manage accounts using Tally ERP (mandatory) Handle general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements Handle GST, TDS, and other tax-related filings (as applicable) Support audits and coordinate with auditors and consultants Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Maintain accurate documentation and internal controls

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of accounting experience Strong hands-on experience with Tally (mandatory) Knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance Experience with MS Excel and financial reporting Female is preferred
