Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven and highly experienced Chief Accountant to lead our finance and accounting function. This is a senior role requiring complete ownership of accounts, statutory compliance, reporting, and financial discipline across the organization.

Role Overview

The Chief Accountant will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting management with timely financial insights and controls.

Key Responsibilities

Head and manage complete company accounts independently Ensure accurate maintenance of books, ledgers, and financial records Handle GST, Income Tax, TDS, and all statutory filings with zero delays Prepare monthly MIS, P&L, Balance Sheet, and cash flow statements Manage audits, tax assessments, and liaison with auditors & consultants Oversee receivables, payables, banking, and fund flow planning Implement financial controls, cost monitoring, and process improvements Guide and supervise the accounting team for accuracy and compliance Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial decisions
Eligibility & Skills

Minimum _8__ years of relevant accounting experience (senior-level) Strong hands-on expertise in GST, taxation, and compliance Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel Experience in retail / wholesale / manufacturing accounting preferred High level of integrity, ownership, and attention to detail Ability to work independently and handle pressure during closures
