Senior Accountant

to join our finance team in Kochi and play a key role in managing our UAE operations' financial processes.

Role Overview



The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting management with insights for decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent command over English, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage cross-border financial operations.

Key Responsibilities



Financial Accounting & Reporting

Manage and maintain accounts, ensuring timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions. Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support strategic decisions.

Compliance & Controls

Ensure adherence to accounting principles, company policies, and statutory regulations. Coordinate with auditors (internal & external) and support audit requirements. Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with UAE and India financial reporting standards.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

Manage vendor invoices, payments, reconciliations, and maintain vendor relationships. Support accounts receivable and sales teams with billing, collections, and reconciliation of customer accounts. Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up to ensure timely collections.

Financial Operations & Analysis

Monitor cash flow and support treasury functions. Analyze accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly. Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, expenses, and other financial documents. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's/Professional qualification like CA/CPA/ACCA preferred but not mandatory). 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience (any industry). Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in

MS Excel

(advanced functions, reporting, analysis). Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and support cross-border teams. Exposure to accounting software/ERP systems is an added advantage.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
