Job Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role will work closely with the finance team to provide financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting support to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
2. Billing and Invoicing: Prepare and manage client invoices, ensuring timely payment and minimizing delays.
3. Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances, and providing recommendations.
5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
6. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
7. Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure financial integrity and prevent errors.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, estimators, and other stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and alignment.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
2. Professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) preferred
