Senior Accountant
to lead our financial operations and ensure the fiscal health of our expanding business.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Taxation & Compliance:
Manage GST filings (GSTR-1, 3B, 9), TDS payments/returns, and ensure compliance with all local and federal tax regulations.
General Ledger Management:
Oversee all journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintain the accuracy of the general ledger.
Inventory & Costing:
Collaborate with the manufacturing and warehouse teams to track inventory costs, manage stock audits, and analyze production expenses.
Accounts Payable/Receivable:
Monitor vendor payments (including key suppliers like Hettich, Hafele, and Kaff) and ensure timely collection from retail and corporate clients.
Audit Support:
Coordinate with external auditors and Chartered Accountants for annual statutory audits and tax audits.
Process Improvement:
Implement and refine accounting software procedures to enhance efficiency and internal controls.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (M.Com/MBA Finance or CA-Inter preferred).
Experience:
5-8 years of experience in accounting, ideally within the
Retail, Manufacturing, or Interior Design
sectors.
Technical Proficiency:
Advanced knowledge of
TallyPrime
or similar ERP systems. Expertise in
Microsoft Excel
(Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Financial Modeling).
Statutory Knowledge:
Deep understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), GST, and Income Tax laws.
Attention to Detail:
High level of accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
