About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented

Senior Accountant

to manage end-to-end accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support overall financial planning. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting standards, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings. Oversee payroll accounting and ensure timely employee payments. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits. Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal financial controls. Support management with financial insights and reporting for decision-making. Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records. Review and streamline accounting processes to enhance efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 4-6 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and statutory compliance. Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or other accounting software. Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS reports). In-depth understanding of accounting standards and financial principles. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in managing audits and compliance. Exposure to financial modeling and MIS reporting. Knowledge of ERP systems is an added advantage.
