Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
Manage general ledger, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
Conduct variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and provide insight-driven financial analysis.
Assist with internal and external audits; prepare documentation and liaise effectively with auditors.
Maintain internal controls; recommend accounting process improvements.
Qualifications
Education

Experience
: Typically 7- 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least some in a senior role.
Technical Skills
: Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
Soft Skills
: Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership abilities.
Mentor and supervise junior accounting team members.
Oversee preparation of tax returns and coordinate tax compliance.
Collaborate across departments on financial initiatives and system implementations
