Day to Day




As a Senior Accountant II, you will be responsible for completion of several OTC (Order to Cash) accounting processes during month/quarter-end close. In addition, you will be responsible for quick and accurate completion of quarterly and annual Indeed India compliance and statutory filings, as well as participation in India related audits. You will ensure accurate financial statements through journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, variance reporting, and timely close activities, and will have 5+ years of accounting with India compliance experience, including monthly/quarterly/annual closes. You are an organised self-starter who approaches tasks with excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. . You should be able to communicate in English, in reading, writing, and verbal communication.


Responsibilities




Support the month/quarter/year-end close processes for several OTC accounting processes Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and provide variance reporting Ensure accurate completion of financial statement close activities Prepare and submit required quarterly and annual compliance filings, including FEMA submissions, in accordance with India's regulatory requirements Support statutory and regulatory audits for India finance operations Liaise with global accountants on reconciliation and close tasks and support answering questions from auditors Promote process improvements and documentation

Skills/Competencies




5+ years of accounting close experience and India statutory and compliance experience Bachelor's degree required in Finance, or Accounting or equivalent field Proven technical knowledge of India local regulations, including requirements for quarterly and annual compliance filings and FEMA regulations Demonstrated ability to evaluate complex scenarios and provide thoughtful suggestions and alternatives. Effective communication skills (written and oral) and excellent organizational skills A self-starter who is well-organised, demonstrates attention to detail, and thrives in a fun, but results-oriented work environment. Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, ERP such as Workday, and other financial systems.

Salary Range Transparency




India 1,440,000 - 2,160,000 INR per year
