Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and analytically strong Senior Accountant to join our The Lake Hill Group of Hotels . This role is responsible for end-to-end financial management of multiple hotel properties, with a primary focus on Profit & Loss (P&L) ownership, revenue accounting, financial analysis, and expense optimization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of hospitality revenue streams, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to work closely with revenue support leads and accounting support staff to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & P&L Ownership

Maintain and manage complete P&L statements for all hotel properties within the group. Ensure accurate allocation of revenues and expenses across properties and departments. Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and trends.
Revenue Accounting & Analysis

Oversee all aspects of revenue accounting, including room revenue, F&B, ancillary services, and other income streams. Develop a strong understanding of revenue drivers and business performance metrics specific to the hospitality industry. Work closely with revenue support leads to validate revenue data, resolve discrepancies, and improve revenue reporting processes.
Financial Analysis, Planning & Optimization

Perform detailed financial analysis to support strategic planning, forecasting, and decision-making. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize operating expenses and improve profitability. Assist management in planning and executing cost-control initiatives without compromising service quality.
Team Coordination & Process Oversight

Supervise, guide, and review the work of accounting support staff and data entry personnel to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Establish and improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting standards across properties. Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
Compliance & Reporting

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations. Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management as required.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications preferred. 6-10+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality or leisure industry. Proven experience managing P&L statements for multiple business units or properties. Strong understanding of hospitality revenue structures and cost drivers.

Skills & Competencies

Advanced financial analysis and strong numerical aptitude. High attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger financial picture. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel; experience with hotel PMS or ERP systems is an advantage. Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with operational and revenue teams. Proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement and optimization.
