The role of a senior accountant in a construction company in Gurugram typically involves the following roles and responsibilities: Financial Reporting: The senior accountant is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Budgeting and Forecasting: The senior accountant is responsible for preparing and monitoring the company\'s budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances, and making recommendations to management on cost-saving measures. Taxation: The senior accountant is responsible for ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations, preparing and filing tax returns, and assisting in tax planning and strategy. Accounts Payable and Receivable: The senior accountant is responsible for managing the company\'s accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, making payments, and collecting payments from customers. Financial Analysis: The senior accountant is responsible for performing financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and making recommendations to management on financial strategy.
