Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing both financial and human resources functions. This role includes overseeing the brand's financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and maintaining smooth HR operations with employee salary and PF. You will manage accounts payable/receivable, perform monthly P&L, perform regular financial reporting, handle GST and tax audits, oversee inventory management both opening and closing stock, and manage employee lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting

Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, ensure data accuracy, and prepare financial statements. Oversee the preparation and presentation of weekly expense sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports. Track and manage inventory at the warehouse, ensuring correct inventory levels are maintained and reconciled. Process refunds, returns, and payouts to customers and vendors. Handle all GST filings, tax returns, and audits to ensure compliance with government regulations. Maintain employee records, including attendance, payroll, and personal information in accordance with data protection regulations. Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, bonuses, and other employee benefits.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Proven experience in accounting , preferably within an e-commerce environment. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations (GST, Income Tax). Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Marg, Razorpay) and MS Office, especially Excel. Familiarity with HR practices, payroll processing, and labor laws. Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
