Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented

Senior Accountant

to join our organization in Goa. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain books of accounts and oversee day-to-day accounting activities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Handle

GST compliance

- returns, reconciliation, and filings Manage

TDS, PF, ESI

, and other statutory compliances Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities Finalization of accounts and support during audits Bank reconciliations and cash flow management Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure accuracy in reporting

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce

8+ years

of relevant experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant Strong knowledge of

GST, Income Tax, and Indian accounting standards

Experience with accounting software (Tally, ERP, or similar) Proficiency in MS Excel Good communication and organizational skills

As per industry standards (based on experience)
