The Senior Accountant will oversee the complete accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role involves managing accounts payable/receivable, preparing financial statements, coordinating audits, and supervising junior accounting staff.
KRA: Task / Activities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure books are updated in
Tally
.
Prepare and review financial statements such as P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
Ensure GST, TDS, and statutory filings are completed accurately and on time.
Handle vendor and client reconciliations.
Monitor and control budgets, expenses, and cash flow.
Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.
Supervise and guide junior accountants.
Support management in financial planning and decision-making.
KPI: Performance Metrics
Accuracy and timeliness of monthly/annual financial reports.
Compliance with statutory and internal audit standards.
Efficiency in managing collections, payments, and reconciliations.
Quality of team coordination and support to management.
Skills & Attitude (A in BARE Fit)
Required Skills
Preferred skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Indian taxation (GST, TDS).
Proficiency in
Tally
and MS Excel.
Experience in financial statement preparation and audit coordination.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines.
Exposure to project accounting (preferred in interior/construction industry).
Working knowledge of ERP software and MIS reporting.
