We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Senior Accountant

to oversee general accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance. This role requires a proactive individual who can lead month-end processes, support audits, and provide guidance to junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Prepare accurate financial reports and statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Must have the knowlegde of taxation. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities. Support internal controls and participate in process improvements. Mentor and guide junior accountants or finance team members. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, HR, and other departments.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA preferred). Minimum [5+] years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. MCS) Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, etc.). Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
