The 1970 Shop is a growing retail and lifestyle brand committed to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer experience. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Accountant to join our finance team and support day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliation.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Prepare monthly and yearly financial statements and MIS reports.
Maintain and reconcile GST, TDS and other statutory compliance records.
Coordinate with auditors and support during audit processes.
Manage vendor payments, follow-ups and maintain payment schedules.
Monitor stock entries, purchase bills, sales invoices and maintain documentation accuracy.
Support management with financial data analysis and budgeting inputs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting.
1-4 years of accounting experience
, preferably in retail / trading / manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in
Tally / ERP Systems
and
MS Excel
.
Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Good communication and coordination skills.
