Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

Maintain day-to-day financial transactions using

Tally

or similar accounting software. Manage

accounts payable

and

accounts receivable

. Reconcile bank statements and cash flow regularly. Maintain accurate ledgers, journals, and financial records.

2. Taxation & Compliance

Prepare and file

GST returns, TDS, and other statutory filings

on time. Handle

GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C

, and other reconciliations. Ensure compliance with all tax-related regulations and coordinate with external auditors when needed.

3. Inventory & Cost Management

Work closely with the production and inventory teams to manage

fabric stock, SKU codes, and finished products

. Track

raw material purchases

and

finished goods consumption

. Support in maintaining accurate stock valuation and costing reports.

4. Payroll & Employee Payments

Process monthly salaries, advances, reimbursements, and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.). Maintain employee records for payment tracking and ensure timely disbursals.

5. Reporting & Analysis

Prepare

monthly MIS reports

for management review. Analyze profitability, expenses, and operational costs to support decision-making. Assist in preparing

annual budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies

.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com, M.Com, or CA Inter preferred).

Experience:

2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail, manufacturing, or e-commerce.

Skills:

Proficiency in

Tally Prime

/ Zoho Books / QuickBooks. Strong knowledge of

GST, TDS, and basic accounting standards

. Good command of

MS Excel

for data handling and reporting. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.

Soft Skills:

Attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, and a sense of ownership.
