We are looking to hire a highly experienced and responsible
Senior Accountant
for a reputed
Steel and Iron Trading Firm
. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling complete accounting operations independently and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day accounting activities including sales, purchases, bank, cash, and journal entries.
Maintain complete books of accounts independently.
Manage GST compliance including return filing, reconciliation, and audits.
Handle TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage accounts receivable and payable, including party reconciliations.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and statutory authorities.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and applicable laws.
Manage inventory accounting related to steel and iron trading operations.
Prepare MIS reports and support management with financial analysis.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
5-10 years of experience
as a Senior Accountant, preferably in a
Steel / Iron Trading Firm
.
Strong knowledge of
GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances
.
Proficiency in
Tally/accounting software
and MS Excel.
Ability to handle accounts
independently
.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
Salary & Benefits
Salary:
40,000 - 50,000 per month (based on experience and skill set)
Benefits will be as per company policy and industry standards.
