Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial statements.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, etc.).
Conduct regular reconciliation of bank accounts, ledgers, and vendor statements.
Manage accounts payable and receivable cycles effectively.
Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.
Monitor and improve internal financial controls and accounting processes.
Support management in financial planning and decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 5-10 years in accounting or finance roles.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / SAP / QuickBooks / Zoho Books (as applicable).
Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial analysis tools.
Solid understanding of accounting standards and taxation laws.
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and team leadership abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
