Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze cost sheets for steel production processes. Monitor daily production costs, raw material consumption, and wastage. Conduct variance analysis (standard vs actual cost) and report deviations. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monthly cost audits. Track and control inventory valuation and movement. Support monthly MIS reporting and profitability analysis. Liaise with production, procurement, and stores for cost control measures. Ensure compliance with internal policies and cost accounting standards.

Key Skills:

Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles (especially in process industry). Proficiency in SAP / ERP systems and MS Excel. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Good communication and interdepartmental coordination skills.
