Senior Accountant
Qualification & Background
Commerce background (B.Com / M.Com mandatory)
Professional exposure (CA-Inter / CMA-Inter / MBA Finance preferred)
Strong hands-on knowledge in:
Accounting & bookkeeping
Project-wise accounting
Cost tracking & expense control
Cash flow & fund planning
Experience in architecture / construction / interior / project-based firms is a strong advantage

Role Purpose
The Senior Accountant is responsible for financial behaviour control of the organization--ensuring accuracy, discipline, compliance, fund control, and financial clarity to support management and operations in decision-making.
This role is the financial backbone of the company.

Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate books of accounts (daily entries)
Ensure proper classification of income, expenses, assets, and liabilities
Maintain project-wise and department-wise accounts
2. Financial Control & Discipline
Control all payments, receipts, and expenses as per approvals
Ensure no financial transaction happens without documentation
Track cost overruns, leakages, and irregular spending
3. Cash Flow & Fund Planning
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow statements
Track receivables, payables, and commitments
Alert management and operations about fund risks in advance
4. Budgeting & Cost Monitoring
Support preparation of budgets and estimates
Monitor actual vs budgeted expenses
Highlight variances and suggest corrective actions
5. Compliance & Documentation
Ensure statutory compliance (GST, TDS, filings, audits support)
Maintain vouchers, bills, agreements, and financial records
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and banks
6. Reporting & Decision Support
Prepare MIS reports for management and operations
Provide financial insights for planning and control
Support Operations Manager with real-time financial data
7. Behavioural Control (Back-end Discipline)
Ensure timelines, reporting discipline, and system adherence
Maintain financial integrity, confidentiality, and ethics
Enforce standard accounting processes without deviation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
